Electrostatic Paint Bonding
Standard paints are sprayed as wet liquids that slowly dry. This wet layer leaves micro-pores that absorb atmospheric moisture, eventually bubbling and rusting the metal underneath. Powder coating uses dry, charged particles sprayed onto grounded steel, which are then heated in ovens to form a thick, pore-free coating.
